The Upper Cervical chiropractic technique is a gentle method of aligning the spine that requires no popping, twisting, or cracking of the neck. It is all done with the patient in a very comfortable position and the adjustments feel like a light touch.
We first focus on the upper cervical vertebrae, the Atlas, because this is the closest area of the spine to your nervous system. By aligning the Atlas to its proper position, we are able to open up the pathways that your nervous system needs to flow through so your body can heal. When the Atlas is in alignment, the adjustment travels all the way down the spine and aligns many of the vertebrae and pelvis. Once the Atlas is stable, we then continue aligning the rest of your spine. One of the unique features of the Upper Cervical procedure is the long-term stability of the adjustments and how it allows for the rest of the body to stabilize.
WE ARE DIFFERENT AND GET TO THE ROOT CAUSE OF YOUR PAIN:
We use objective measurements to analyze your spine in detail. We measure:
The weight difference between the left and right side of your body
Your spinal alignment in relationship to your center of gravity
The height of your hips bilaterally
Your leg length bilaterally
Care is specific to each patient because every spinal correction is different. This is why precise objective measures are taken when you start care and throughout care.
